Decisiveness

I think decision always followed by actions. The actions needed to support the decision made and make it a reality.

Been on this "Character First" thingy from company.
Decisiveness= The ability to recognize key factors and finalize difficult decision.
Key Traits:
1.) Gather Accurate Information -develop the habit of gathering correct information and retaining trusted advisors.
2.) Keep a clear perspective- learn to separate and weigh facts, goals, feelings, interests, and opinions.
3.) Make the right choice - make decisions based on sound morals, wise priorities, and accurate information.
4.) Follow through- demonstrate your commitment to a decision by investing the necessary time, resources and effort
5.) Weather Critism- maintain consistency by making clear commitment to what is right, acknowledging mistakes when necessary.

To evaluate your decisiveness:
1.) Have you maintaned relationships with knowledgeable people and actively studied and evaluated new information?
*Yes. Hope to build more, learn more.
2.) Do you assume your feelings are always accurate?
*sometimes... aiks! but learning to ask and clarify lately.
3.) Is the right decision or the easy decision more appealing to you?
*Right of course!!!.. but i don't deny at times, i tend to choose an easy way out too!
4.) Has the result of a poor decision ever caught you by surprise?
*Usually not surprised me, but more on, when i decide on something, i usually weigh the consequences. And i am blessed that sometime, those consequences doesn't hit me. (thank god!).
5.) Do you often procrastinate, hoping someone else will make a decision for you?
*i think not. I usually cannot stand the feeling of hanging in the middle of being indecisive.... usually i heed good counsel, weigh pros and cons, list down and make a decision. then i ask God to change it if otherwise... Sometimes, i pray for wisdom and guidance and peace of heart too.
