Discretion

Got feedback in this...

Discretion vs Simplemindedness
Discretion= recognizing and avoiding words, actions and altitudes that could bring undesirable consequences.

*Consider the Consequences- think through each situation and evaluate how your decisions affect others.
*Choose Words Carefully- encourage and instruct others with carefully chosen words that produce constructive results.
*Practice Good Manners- show other the same courtesy you wish to receive from them.
*Learn from Mistakes- observe mistakes in order to devise a better response for future situations.
*Stay Away from Trouble- anticipate potential trouble, and avoid compromising situations.

Evaluate Your discretion:
1.) Do you consider how your actions affect others?
2.) Do you choose words carefully or expect others to understand?
3.) Have you studied the protocol and expectations in each social situation?
4.) Do you discern what caused a mistake and take steps to avoid repeating it?
5.) Do you avoid trouble when possible?
